HipHollywood has been working non-stop to bring you the very latest concerning the tragic death of Teena Marie.
HipHollywood has learned that 6 weeks ago the R&B legend suffered a seizure while sleeping, but her daughter was in the bed with her and was able to get her mother the medical attention needed. We have also learned that Marie saw a doctor 3 days before Christmas and was said to be fine. Physicians were monitoring her medications and she was cleared to travel to Atlanta for a New Years Day show at the Fox Theatre.
