Video After The Jump
The war between New York radio station Hot 97 and Nicki Minaj just got turned up a notch. As we previously reported, Nicki pulled out of last night's Summer Jam concert after Peter Rosenberg criticized her song "Starships" as not being hip hop.
Funkmaster Flex defended Peter last night by taking to the turntables to say the station would no longer support Nicki.
"We aint f*cking with commercial rappers no more," he told the audience of 50,000 plus in New Jersey. "If you lost the f*cking streets it's your fault! If you don't go gold it's your fault! I'm dedicated to tearing you down. F*ck with me! We're gonna show you mama. You think you didn't sell any records this time?"
Meanwhile Rosenberg tweeted this morning that he doesn't regret what he said.
Check out what Funk Flex had to say below.
